Best Etsy shops for wedding planning

Using Etsy to not only find ideas for your wedding but also hire awesome designers at affordable prices is one of the top pieces of advice I could give to you. I’m not married but most of the brides I work with say that Etsy was an MVP for planning their wedding.

Planning a wedding can sometimes feel like a whirlwind of tasks to complete, decoration ideas, deadlines, and lots of money leaving your bank account. It's more than likely your first time planning one and it's like picking up a second job except you don't get paid! Those who find clarity amid the chaos earliest and have a good gameplan into going in are often the least stressed and happiest with their purchases. I'm a big fan of using Etsy to help plan weddings because there's a ton of variety to choose from and you can order high-quality handcrafted products from small businesses for very affordable prices. Here are a few of my favorite shops on Etsy that’ll save you money and leave you satisfied af.

Shine Invitations - This is your go-to elegant and sophisticated paper company. If you like minimalistic & timeless designs along with high-quality paper with beautiful, clean finishes - check these guys out.

The Fabeled Papery - My personal favorites in the handcrafted paper product business. This husband and wife in Australia create some of the most beautiful & artistic designs I've ever seen. For anything from save the dates, menus, placeholders, and more you will be blown away by their designs and (from what I hear) amazing customer service.

DesignsbySoCalGirl - Prefer to order or make your own placements and invitations? Maybe you've already started making them and realized how long it actually takes to write all your guests' names in cursive. If that's the case and you'd rather pay a pro to write in beautiful cursive for you, look no further than this girl. She's the best and most affordable calligraphist (I think that's a word) I've found on Etsy.

HoorayDays - The one-stop-shop for custom wedding decorations. Anything from matching robes and bags to tableware and greenery. This place has it all and you could buy every decoration and fun prop for your wedding from this place and be done. My favorite of theirs are the sweet coloring mats and crayons for the kids' seats.

Pro Tip

Buy yourself a custom hanger from Custom Bridal Hanger. They're one of the most forgotten items on a wedding day list and although I have a generic one that says "bride" on it, for $12 you can get yourself a sweet custom hanger to hang your dress on with your name and wedding date. Way better than getting to your wedding day and having all your dress pictures on a flimsy plastic hanger.

All of the decorations and paper materials on your wedding day help create the look and vibe of your wedding day. Investing a little bit of time and money into high-quality custom products can go a long way toward making your day unforgettable and you don't need to break the bank to do so. Check out these shops and if you have any other questions let me know.
