I’m a free spirited guy and there’s nothing that lights my fire like creating a magical experience where someone can feel totally themselves and be able to give them awesome pictures to cherish for life. To me that’s the coolest and most rewarding thing I could ever spend my limited time here doing. I’m super fortunate to do this full time where I can focus all of my energy into helping couples plan and capture awesome weddings in Omaha, Nebraska and beyond.
Being a photographer allows me to express my creativity while capturing the natural beauty of the world. I’m often forced to think quickly and outside the box in my approach to adapt to changing scenes, light patterns, vibes and more and it’s almost always fun and challenging in the best ways. I approach life with a sense of curiosity, optimism, and adventure and one of my favorite things is connecting with other people who see the magic and beauty in the world. Besides shooting weddings and engagements I shoot lots of family pictures, portraits, commercial work for brands and more. In 2018 I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Advertising and Psychology where I developed a similar love and excitement for creating content for brands as I do working with couples to plan their dream wedding. In my free time I enjoy learning about the nature of the universe and consciousness, working out, and drinking a few cold Kona Big Waves with my friends. There’s no better way to celebrate your engagement than a fun engagement shoot! We can split our time between the city and a beautiful park, go out to your family’s land and take some beautiful pictures alone in nature, or we can hang out at your apartment and capture a “day in the life” of you two. My most popular engagement shoot is an hour long and honestly a really freakin’ good time.
The beautiful and creative images we create not only look great on your phone but are even more awesome when they’re printed on your save the dates or hung up in your home and brought on your wedding day.
Relive your day over and over like you never thought possible with a beautiful wedding film
Not having a video to look back on of their wedding day is one of the few immediate regrets that many of the couples I work with. Once the dust settles and you’re in your honeymoon phase, one of the absolute best ways to relive your day is through film. There’s nothing quite like it and that’s why I love producing 4-6 minute highlight films as well as longer documentary style films. Just want the footage from your day? That’s cool too.
For about the same price as a photographer, you can get a wonderful masterpiece of your unique and beautiful way to cherish for the rest of your lives. You can avoid the mistake that many couples make by hiring an experienced videographer to capture your day.

What does the consultation process look like?
After you initially reach out, I will get in touch with you to hear more about where you’re at in the wedding planning process. Either over the phone or email I will share my packages and we can talk about what works best for the two of you. I am always down to meet in person and visit your wedding venue to plan out shots for the day if that’s something you’re interested in.
dO YOU EDIT EVERY PICTURE?
I take anywhere from 1500 - 3000 pictures on an average wedding day and from there I choose the best images that tell the story of your day. It’s a long and sometimes challenging process to choose the best pictures, especially when there are many images of each scene with only slight variations, but I do this so that you’re only getting the best of the best. After that I carefully edit each picture individually and then send you a link to the full gallery of wedding images with anywhere from 600 - 900 pictures depending on the length of your day.
hOW LONG UNTIL i GET TO SEE MY PICTURES?
Not long at all. I’ll send several sneak peeks of my favorite pictures during the week after your wedding and you can expect your full digital wedding gallery of images within 4 weeks. Wedding films take a bit longer.
How many weddings do you shoot a year?
Well, before COVID came I had about 25 weddings planned to shoot this year but obviously that has dwindled. For 2021 I am aiming to have 30 weddings booked for the year with 70% shooting photos and 30% shooting video. Booking 25 weddings a year allows me to live the life that I want and be able to focus my efforts so that every couple I work with receives a one-of-a-kind experience on their wedding day.
My fiancé and I are shy, is that a problem?
Absolutely NOT! In fact, a lot of couples book with me because they’re shy and think that I can help them feel comfortable and totally themselves on their wedding day - and they’re not wrong! I can vibe with super outgoing people and I can vibe just as well with quiet folks. I don’t want you to be pressured to be anybody you’re not.
